The final PaldiSpot test report provides information on whether a specific strain is present in a patient’s cells or serum, and a quantification parameter (its Ct value, or threshold cycle).

The threshold cycle, or Ct value, shows that a detectable amount of the DNA has been generated during the test. The PaldiSpot test can detect the presence of 23 strains of Borrelia, Babesia or Bartonella in a DNA sample.
